Integration of essential concepts, theories, and nursing knowledge to make sound clinical judgments when providing nursing care to individuals across the lifespan with acute, episodic conditions. Introduction to key concepts for professional nursing practice including evidence-based nursing and communication. Through scholarly work and examination of standards of practice, students will develop an understanding of the historic and current role of the nurse in healthcare and society.

The Master’s Entry into Professional Nursing is designed for students who have completed a bachelor’s degree and is offered over the span of 15 calendar months in accelerated 10-week semesters . This program confers a Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) upon completion.
